Hello! I’m Taren Kate — a proud Aussie with a love for creativity, fueled by grit and just the right amount of caffeine.
With 18+ years in hospitality, I’ve done it all — from working the line and managing service to bartending and developing beverage programs for Ruth’s Chris Steak House. Every late night and restaurant opening taught me that great hospitality is storytelling in action.
Somewhere along the way, I discovered design could do the same — spark emotion, tell stories, and connect people. So I returned to school for Graphic Design and Web Development, bartending nights and raising my son, Byron, while chasing a dream that wouldn’t let go.
After serving as Senior Graphic Designer for Tavistock Restaurant Collection, designing for 17+ brands, I struck out on my own.
Now I run a studio where hospitality meets rebellion, creating bold, story-driven branding for restaurants, breweries, and lifestyle brands.
